Terms of Service

Adventure Istanbul

1. Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or playing Adventure Istanbul ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App is published under the Rasegame indie publishing brand and operated jointly by Mehmet Rauf Oğuz and Selin Özdem, acting as individuals (no company), contactable at [email protected].

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to digital services (for example 16 in some EU countries), whichever is higher. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

The App is not intended for Apple's Kids Category and is not directed at young children.

3. The service

Adventure Istanbul is an idle / incremental game. You may play as a guest or with an email and password account. Optional features in some builds include advertisements, push notifications, and a paid "remove ads" subscription via Apple In-App Purchase.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features (including TestFlight-only configurations) at any time.

4. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.
  • Guest progress is tied to the guest account on our servers; convert to email if you want a durable login.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service (cheating, harassment, attacks on infrastructure).

Account deletion: use Profile → Delete Account in the app (guest or registered). You may also contact [email protected].

5. Virtual items and progress

In-game currency, products, managers, levels, and progress have no real-world cash value and cannot be redeemed for money. We may reset, adjust, or wipe progress for balance, anti-cheat, or technical reasons.

If a remove ads (or similar) subscription is offered, it is sold only through Apple In-App Purchase. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms and shown in the purchase sheet. Use Restore Purchases in the App if you reinstall.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Cheat, reverse engineer, or attack the App or APIs
  • Use bots or automated play that harms the service
  • Infringe others' rights or upload unlawful content
  • Misrepresent identity or abuse support channels

7. Intellectual property

The App, branding, art, animation, UI design, and code are owned by Mehmet Rauf Oğuz and Selin Özdem, except where licensed from third parties. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for entertainment, subject to these Terms.

8. Third-party services

The App may integrate third parties (for example Apple, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, OneSignal, email providers). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. See the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free play.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEHMET RAUF OĞUZ AND SELIN ÖZDEM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR PROGRESS. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 50 (OR LOCAL EQUIVALENT).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mehmet Rauf Oğuz and Selin Özdem from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Istanbul, Turkey shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you the right to sue in your local courts.

Offering the App in multiple App Store territories does not change this governing law unless required by mandatory local rules.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted at https://rasegame.com/games/adventure-istanbul/terms and may require re-acceptance in the App. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.
